Bookkeeping and payroll
Clean records, recurring payroll, staff ledgers, contractor payments, guild wages, and salary structures for teams spread across several realities.
A professional accounting office licensed to close accounts across incompatible realities, from ordinary company books to cursed ledgers, royal treasuries, time-loop reports, and businesses that exist in more than one universe at once.
The Ledgerhouse handles the financial work that ordinary accountants refuse, cannot understand, or are legally advised not to look directly at.
Clean records, recurring payroll, staff ledgers, contractor payments, guild wages, and salary structures for teams spread across several realities.
Tax preparation, compliance checks, declaration reviews, and multi-jurisdiction filings for companies operating inside, outside, or between universes.
Audits, multi-currency reconciliation, cursed ledger inspection, missing asset tracing, and accounts that only balance during eclipses.
Expense claims from repeated days, duplicated business trips, future invoices, retroactive purchases, and receipts dated before the company existed.
Inheritance disputes between alternate selves, mirrored founders, royal estates, parallel shareholders, and assets owned by several versions of one person.
Shop accounts, guild accounts, royal treasuries, dream-income declarations, haunted hotel books, and company structures existing in more than one universe.
Varruk Sen-tel is one of the Emporium’s few Tall Tusked Accountants licensed to close accounts across incompatible realities. He is taller and older-looking than Krr-tak-vai, with pale blue-gray skin, long ivory tusks polished like ceremonial tools, and six sharp accountant’s eyes that can spot an unbalanced column from across a crowded food court.
Before arriving in the Emporium, Varruk worked as a Continuity Auditor in the Red Lawn Dimension, where he inspected civic records grown inside bureaucracy flowers and determined whether certain debts still existed after the ground beneath them changed ownership. He is polite, dryly funny, and patient with humans, though clients are advised not to list their future selves as dependents without proper documentation.
Every client begins with a reality compatibility review. This determines whether the company, its owners, its currency, and its records all exist in the same legal framework. Surprisingly often, they do not.
Once the records are stabilized, Varruk and his clerks prepare the books, reconcile the assets, identify impossible entries, and close the accounts with the correct stamps, seals, witness leaves, and audit crystals.
“Every universe has books. We make them close.”
The Ivory Ledgerhouse is located a few doors from Tusk & Tally, making it convenient for clients who first buy a calculator and then realize they need professional intervention.
